It seems these days the number of people getting dementia is increasing. A heart wrenching disease which not only leaves one without memory, but a hole in the hearts of those who love them. We here at Eastern Shores Nautical Designs, know all to well the grieving that begins not just at the end, but during each stage we share with them until the end. We have witnessed first hand the difficulties associated with dementia, the affects it has on its victims, and all those around them, as we have watched some of our own loved ones slowly slip away with this disease. Therefore, we wanted to take the opportunity we have with our product line to help this disease. Every purchase helps, as a portion of each sale is donated to this cause.

Our family has also suffered the loss of a loved one through suicide. Mental Health Awareness and overcoming the stigma associated with it, is also something we are passionate about.
